Local artist and member of the Tall Bike Posse, Bill Mulder, lead an effort to host an art show celebrating National Bike Month. The results were far more impressive than anyone imagined. Here are a few links for a better look at the show:

Nevermind the 4 months notice I had about this show. Once again, it came down to the week of the show before anything happened. Without Jimmy's spontaneous effort, I'd still be planning a piece that could never happen. He's the mastermind behind the beautifully textured backgrounds. I took his freshly-painted panels and added several cycling balloon-headed figures. The final images appear as abstract paintings from a distance, until these clumsy creatures reveal themselves upon closer insepction. In fact, we watched quite a few people grin as they approached the paintings. Mission accomplished.

Thanks again to Bill Mulder, all of the Tall Bike Posse, and the SLO Bike Coalition for assembling one of the most unique art shows in the county.
