Pinup Girl Mixed media illustration Here's my second guitar for Joe Koenig. This time he wanted the illustration to only cover part of the guitar. And it had to be a sexy lady. The real challenge was creating an image that wouldn't rub off easily, since Joe pounds this guitar regularly. I ended up using matte spray paint, wood stain, acrylic (bad idea), and "One Shot" sign paint. You'll notice I gave her a gorilla arm in one of my preliminary sketches. That was quickly vetoed since Joe has "never liked chics with big hands."
