Process Digital Print 574 x 200 mm Inspired by Chuck Close's scribble etchings at his show Process & Collaboration, I decided to try it out in an easier, digital format. I simply printed out a photo and overlaid tracing paper to make 7 pencil sketches. I then scanned and prepared each sketch as a color fill layer with mask in Photoshop. This gave me the flexibility to adjust each color layer one at a time. Of course Chuck Close does it the pain-in-the-ass way and smokes my drawing any day. A Chuck Close Scribble JUL 2005
