CalPoly: CSM / EBI Client of S. Lombardi & Associates
In hopes of raising money for a new EBI facility, the CSM decided to produce a 4-minute promotional cd-rom. The project included logo design, package design, multimedia, and video production. My co-workers produced the video, while I worked on everything else.
Once we agreed on the logo, I knew it wouldn't take much to layout the jacket and opening animation for the cd-rom. On the other hand, exporting the video with the right codec and re-compressing it in Flash was a pain-in-the-ass! But the biggest challenge, by far, was creating a hybrid cross-platform cd-rom. Not until after I tested the cd on several computers, did I discover issues with frame rate and buffering video. In the end, it worked out fine and everyone was happy, even the Palestinians.
