Finally, a client whose payment was better than money. Advertising for this 5-day festival bgan prematurely with the Wine Basics 101 postcard and then changed direction somewhat once the logos were developed. Throughout the project, I was responsible for all photography (minus the award and wooden utensil photos), illustration, and design. But implementing the flash-based multimedia presentation remained the biggest challenge. Actually, making sure the presentation was idiot-proof was the real trick. The slides were advanced via the arrow keys and an optional automated photo slideshow could be loaded by pressing the spacebar, during breaks in the ceremony. Judging by my 5-day buzz, everything was a success.
